Holiday Skincare and Makeup with Scout Cosmetics

If you’re anything like I used to be, I would leave it all until the last minute and then wonder why my look didn’t seem well put together. The times have changed my friends, I started planning well in advance my festive beauty routine for my favourite time of year.

Cleanse: 6:30 Alarm goes off, I browse my social media accounts for what feels like 30 minutes, then I wash my face with the Superfruit Exfoliating Wash Off Cleanser. This gentle foaming cleanser exfoliates and protects the skin working to nourish and strengthen skin cells. It is packed with vitamins and minerals to moisturise and soothe skin leaving it fresh and invigorated. Tone: I spray a facial mists or toner depending on the state of my skin then I wipe off any residual oil or dirt with a cotton pad.

Serum: I like to press a few drops of the Vitamin C Brightening Serum to my damp skin in order for it to penetrate on a deeper level. A little bit goes a long way, this highly concentrated serum is formulated with Kakadu Plum, Turmeric & Rosehip which helps keep my skin nourished, blemish free and youthful.

Moisturise: For the last step before I apply my eye cream or daily sunscreen, I gently massage the Balance and Replenish Light Moisturiser in an upwards and outwards motion to my face and neck. Ladies do not skimp on the neck, this step is non-negotiable! This delicate scented soothing moisturiser sinks instantly into my skin leaving it smooth, deeply hydrated and nourished.

My skin is normally healthy enough for me not to wear too much makeup. My go to look is quite simple, I like to do a natural nude smokey eye, brows, mascara, lippie and a bit of blush. I only ever apply eyeliner on special occasions therefore, I am super excited to sport a bold cat-eye on Christmas day using Scout Cosmetics Liquid Liner.
