October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and Skeyndor Australia has partnered with Think Pink Foundation’s The Living Centre, launching a new campaign ‘Wear Pink to Think Pink’. Their on-going collaboration aims to raise awareness and vitally needed funds to contribute to the mission and generously support the tireless work and exceptional team at The Living Centre. What is The Living Centre?

Based in Melbourne, it is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing emotional, practical and physical support to women and men diagnosed with breast cancer, their families, and carers free of charge. The focus of all their programs and activities is on wellness, not illness. They do not limit the number of visits by their clients and most importantly, all their services are available to breast cancer patients from any treatment centre and at any stage of their journey.

Sensitive to the special needs and on-going challenges of breast cancer patients, our everyday Australian women ~ Mums, Aunties, Sisters and Girlfriends ~ and their loved ones, The Living Centre has created many programmes and unique services to walk every step of the way with each and every patient and their family members and friends, to share and improve their experiences and their journey. Many of The Living Centre programmes, such as ‘Day of Indulgence’ or ‘Blokes & Families’ have up until now, not been available through our healthcare system or other support centres.
