The other day when I was sorting through all the makeup on my dresser, I decided to create and document a look using products from one of my favourite makeup brands, Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics. They make the most comfortable wearing makeup, formulated with 100% pure luxurious minerals that are free from talc, fillers, chemical dyes, nano-particles and fragrances. Youngblood products are non-comedogenic, non-acnegenic and include Titanium Dioxide for natural sun protection. Basically all their ingredients are natural, eco-friendly and cruelty-free. What is there not to love about that? Here are the details to the full face makeupΒ au naturel look, using YoungBlood products (with a few tiny exceptions).
OK, letβs begin with the most important part, the base. CC Perfecting Primer is pretty much photoshop in a tube. It gives meΒ light coverage while color correcting my skin tone. It leaves my complexion even, luminous and flawless giving my skin life, blurring all the little imperfections. It can be worn alone or under foundation, depending on the coverage you want. Available in 2 shades: Bare is for light to medium skin tones and Tan is for medium to tan skin tones.
I then go in with the Ultimate Corrector, to subtly cover the dark circles around my eyes.Β The light, sheer formula brightens and blends beautifully with the CC Perfecting Primer leaving no added texture to the skin. This duo is a wonderful colour neutraliser, the peach shade will help eliminate any blue discolouration in the skin and the yellow will eliminate any purple discolouration (can also be used to highlight).
Blusher is essential in my makeup routine, so for cheeks I keep it natural with the Pressed Mineral Blush in the shade Tangier. The smooth formulaΒ blends in flawlessly and brightens up my complexion with a radiant looking glow. Just keep in mind the blush is highly pigmented, less is more. You can always build up the colour if needed. Sweep from the apples of the cheeks, fading out.Β
Next we’ll move on to the eyes, the window to our souls… Ok I’ll stop! This flattering Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow Quad will complement any outfit and help you achieve the perfect neutral look. It contains four stunning nude shades: Doe, Coco, Haze, Dessert. Sweep on lightly for a neutral smokey eye or wear it wet for an intense dramatic color.
Saving the best for last, the Lip liner Pencil in plum and Mineral Matte Lipstick in Vain mixed together look super flattering. The formula is a dream; full coverage, nourishing and super creamy texture with a matte finish. They’re comfortable to wear, are easy to apply and have serious staying power.

They are my favourite makeup brand going around at the moment and I’ve been super blessed to try out quite a few of their products. The CC primer is now my everyday holy grail item. I don’t like to wear liquid foundation to work every day, so it’s either a light sweep of mineral powder or now, this CC primer. It does SO WELL in keeping my oil in check too throughout the day.
I am slightly obessed with YB at the moment π

I love the overall look you created with this brand. So many great goodies to choose from, but I would have to say that my favourite would be the eyeshadow quad. You get some great colours in there.
