As the cold climate sets in, warming up snuggled in front of the fireplace or heater feels great. However, the constant change in temperature can suck the moisture out of the skin, leaving it dry, unprotected and susceptible to itching and flaking. This is when I begin transitioning my skincare routine to repair and boost the moisture it needs. Enter skincare survival mode.
Hydra-Essentiel Intensive Moisture Quenching Bi-Phase Serum
This rich, concentrated serum is one of my all time favourites for nourishing skin andΒ providing an extra layer of protection. It immediately feels fresh on the skin and brightens up my complexion, giving it a subtle glow. Not only does a little go a long way, but it doesn’t feel tacky afterward and it absorbs well. I have been applying the serum before my moisturiser to super charge and boost my skin with hydrating goodness.
Hydra-Essentiel Milky Lotion SPF 15
This nourishing milky lotion is the ultimate duo and companion for the serum. The Formula: Organic, leaf of life extract, is a powerful natural hydration activator that boosts the skinβs hyaluronic acid production. It melts into my skin and locks in moisture like no other, whilst protecting against the harmful effects of the sun (SPF 15). Under makeup, it doesnβt feel greasy or causes it to move and crease. It gives my skin a youthful softer appearance, preventing it from drying out and providing it with optimal hydration.
Hydra-Essentiel Cooling-Gel
This cooling gel can be applied day or night in conjunction with the Bi-Phase serum. It has a refreshing texture with a matte finish making it another good base for makeup. The formula shields skin from harsh environmental influences and reactivates the skinβs self-hydrating power. I love how it gives my skin an instant fresh and calming feeling, leaving it radiant, smooth and supple.

Me too π this winter has been rough on my skin.
These sound lovely, especially the cooling gel as I love a matte finish (and my face tends to go red with heaters on so cooling is a bonus for me). Thanks for the review!
I am all for the matte finish too π
I am absolutely loving the range! The milky lotion is heaven on the skin!

I honestly havenβt used any Clarins products in well over 5 years but this range makes me think I should. I always have dry skin so the serum sounds particularly good. Great post π
