I feel like September has flown by so quickly and I apologize this monthly round-up post is a little late but as they say, better late than never. Lets take a look at some of my most frequently used/favourite things from last month. Starting off with skincare, I have always found my skin reacts best whenever I use natural products and in no particular order of preference here are my top picks.
Sukin Super Greens Detoxifying Clay Masque
This masque is infused with detoxifying antioxidants and vitamins containing Kale, Spirulina, Parsley and Chlorella to promote clean healthy skin,Β Avocado and Baobab to lock in moisture,Β Goji Berry encourages a dewy complexion and a burst of Cranberry provides an invigorating scent to refresh the senses. This mask helps my skin feel smooth, hydrated and glowing from within.Β
Worship Superfruit Antioxidant Serum
I absolutely worship this lightweight water-based serum, it provides instant hydration and comfort, protecting the skin from free radicals while keeping it balanced and nourished. Scientifically shown to inhibit oxidative stress in-vitro by up to 90% I have noticed that it helps heal my acne and fade the scars quicker.
Botani Rescue Eye Treatment
Formulated with gentle healing botanicals, this gel rescues my eyes whenever I can’t get my beauty sleep. It helps reduce dark circles and puffiness and softens fine lines and wrinkles around the eye contour area.
SCOUT Cosmetics Pressed Powder Foundation
This natural foundation looks and feels light on the skin offering high-definition coverage for a flawless complexion. It has a non-drying formula containing malic acid a natural AHA which is found in apples designed to assist with brightening and smoothing the complexion, plus vitamin E and jojoba for a healthy natural glow. The added benefit of zinc and titanium dioxide offer an SPF of 15 to shield your skin from harmful UV rays and avoid accelerating the ageing process.
Netflix
Narcos is the true story of theΒ infamous drug kingpin Pablo Escobar and the DEA’s hunting him. Hubby and I are addicted to this crime drama and were hooked in the first episode.

Have you watched Bloodline on Netflix! I watched the whole first season but haven’t watched the second yet. It’s so good! We are also watching Lost on Netflix. It’s like more than 10 years old, but we never saw it while it was airing. It’s extremely good. I will check out Narcos. Sounds super interesting.

Hope you enjoy them too π
I need to watch Narcos, you’re the second person to recommend that recently. On Netflix I recently rewatched the IT Crowd and as far as a Netflix original goes my favorite is Master of None and I enjoyed the Amanda Knox documentary especially because I read her book last year.
I loved watching Master of None, Aziz Ansari is hilarious! Also IT Crowd is brilliant! I have not seen or heard of Amanda Knox’s documentaries, will have to check them out.
The documentary is a little bit about Amanda Knox’s conviction in Italy and the aftermath but a lot is about the media spectacle and sexism and it was soooo interesting but I also read her book last year which I recommend as a supplement to the documentary. I cannot wait for season two of Master of None!
Thanks for sharing! My fiancΓ© loved Narcos too! The only thing he didn’t like was that you had to really focus and constantly read subtitles! xoxo
Hubby had that same issue π I loved that it was in Spanish, it made more authentic π
