I want to wish all the mums a Happy Mothers day! May you have a wonderful day filled with love, happiness and pampering. Here are some makeup and skin care products that I have been using recently to indulge myself.
Each of the Fall Limited Edition Mary Kay Eye Colour Palettes come in a square pan and is divided into a unique geometric pattern which houses 4 stunning hues. Theses eyeshadows are rich, pigmented, blendable and have minimal fallout.
City Sophisticate is a warmer palette with soft shimmering pinks and gorgeous intense metallics. Gold, silver, burgandy and mauve pink each shade is buildable and blendable allowing you to create a variety of looks for both day and night.
Metro Modern is cool tone palette with frosty silver, metallic brown, navy blue and a black with a dark blue iridescence. The formulation is pigmented and have varying degrees of glitter and shimmer.
Velvet Lip Crème
All three lippies feel luxurious and are incredibly lightweight, and hydrating on the lips. They are exceptionally pigmented with a satin finish and glossy shine. All three shades are comfortable to wear, Berry Stylish (vivid berry), Oh So Currant (burgundy with brown undertones) and Naturally Chic (mlbb nude).
Swatched from left to right: Berry Stylish, Oh So Currant and Naturally Chic.
Battle of the Serums
TimeWise Tone-Correcting Serum
TimeWise Replenishing Serum+C
I have been using both serums simultaneously, one on the left side and the other on the right side of my face for a few weeks. Both come in a convenient pump bottle that ensures the ingredients are kept fresh with every application. They both feel light and absorb quickly on to the skin and I can happily say they have helped fade the appearance of my acne scars and my skin feels firmer and more radiant. However the only downside to the Replenishing serum +c is it has an unusual smell which does go away eventually but it takes a while getting used to.
TimeWise Microdermabrasion Refine
This is hands down my favourite skin care product to use on days that I put on heavy makeup. This amazing exfoliator effectively removes dead skin cells and reduces the appearance of pores. I am in love with how my skin feels and glows after I use it, in my opinion you don’t need to go to a spa when you have this at your fingertips. I start with gently massaging it in circular motions all over my damp face. It has a creamy smooth consistence but once you rub it in, it feels a touch rough which is what you really need in a scrub. I highly recommend this gem.
