As a busy mum of two, my visits to the salon have become widely scattered. Time has become of the essence and saving money meant that I was on the hunt for an affordable solution to concealer my roots in between salon visits and dye jobs. I have tested many products in the market, from touch up kits to hair mascaras, you name it, I have probably tried it. Some worked as a great quick fix for covering regrowth while others were a hot mess.
It was not easy finding a product that matched my hair colour, looked natural, was long lasting, mess free and easy to apply. I can now disguise my roots with what looks like an eye shadow palette which is my new beauty bag staple, it is the John Frieda Root Blur Colour Blending Concealer.
This non permanent powder formula blurs my roots and covers greys instantly, it’s easy to use and looks natural. You can customize your shade as each compact comes with 2 colours, a brush and a large mirror. All you have to do is dab the brush in the powder then tap off the excess and blend around the centre part and hairline. The powder is very pigmented and masks regrowth all day or untill shampooed out. I am very impressed with this palette, it fills the gap in-between colour re-growth and literally conceals greys with just a few strokes.
Available in four shades:
1. Chestnut to Espresso, 2. Amber to Maple, 3. Honey to Caramel, 4. Platinum to Champagne Blondes.
